BONITA STEWART – Director
Bonita.Stewart@immanuelhouse.org
After working in the California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation for 30 years in multiple capacities, Bonita always knew that education was the key to success. So, she has got her Associate’s, Bachelor’s, and Master’s Degree. Finally, retiring from the Department of Parole Operations in 2015, Bonita realized a generational devastation pattern for people who have not taken advantage of educational opportunities for various reasons. Bonita has and will continue to dedicate her life to assisting those willing to improve their lives using educational opportunities. In retirement, Bonita is committed and excited to provide continued leadership in the way of helping others. In the words of her late Grandmother, “Never take education for granted, take every opportunity you can get. It is a privilege.”
We also have a lot of wonderful community partners. Without their involvement, none of our work would be possible.
