Liz Reid established Immanuel House (a division of Immanuel Sobriety, Inc.) as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in November of 2007. She wanted to create a catalyst to break the cycle of recidivism in the Inland Empire area of Southern California. So, she founded Immanuel House. Here, we offer evidence-based programs to strengthen individuals on their path to reentry into mainstream society. Our holistic approach involves a wide range of services, including individual assessments, transitional housing, employment resources, supplemental education, case management, and addiction treatment centers, cognitive-behavioral therapy, life skills training, community and family reunification services, and single-stop access to public benefits.
We seek to propel those in reentry to their next level of independence. It is clear in our Mission and Philosophy.
Our goal of restoration is clear in our motto: Transforming Lives From the Hurts of Humanity.
All Immanuel House programs are licensed and/or certified by DHCS – https://www.dhcs.ca.gov/
“Certification by DHCS identifies those facilities that exceed minimum levels of service…”
